Appearance[]
The Queen of Spades was an incredibly fit Japanese woman. She had light skin, silky black hair with bangs and brown eyes, she wore a ponytail.
Personality[]
The Queen of Spades had a confident, strong-willed personality. She was natural-born powerful leader, intellectually capable, witty, persuasive, tough, scrappy, prideful, and active. Unafraid of death, she was not easily deterred or intimidated, as shown in Episodes 5-6. She was also Queen-like in demeanor. She chose to become a citizen of the Borderlands because she felt it was well-suited to her adrenaline-junkie personality. She showed a determination and faith to survive.
History[]
She was born in the living world as a Japanese Citizen. After her near death experience, she was transported to the Borderlands as a player, and after surviving all of the games of her cycle, she decided to stay in the Borderlands as a Citizen, where she became the Queen of Spades, based on her specialty being in Spades games.
Plot[]
A group of players gather to compete in the Queen of Spades game. Including Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi, who decide to help a young boy named Kota to extend his Visa, deciding to protect him from death in the Borderlands. The voice of a lady comes from a TV screen and is later shown to be Risa, the Queen of Spades, she picks the King of the players' team as Kota in the Queen of Spades game.
With her team, she manages to tag nearly all of the her opposing team members and persuade them to join her team in order to survive in the Borderlands, asserting herself as a worthy person to follow. Usagi and Arisu working as a team escape from Risa and defend themselves, pushing off the woman's tactics to join her group; determined to stick to their plan of ensuring their and Kota's survival, Risa was shown to especially desire Ryohei Arisu to join her team above everyone else but verbally said that she did not care about Usagi and even engaged in intense combat against Yuzuha Usagi, as she defended Kota, Risa standing against Usagi's hope and idealism of living and saving a child, considering her a hypocrite and beneath her. Risa also being firm in her warped mindset. After Usagi tags some of her team mates, the group gathers together, Usagi decides to convince them to join her team with an emotional, empowering speech mentioning the chance of going back to the living world- this causes all of the Queen's group members and the other players to switch loyalties and join Usagi, and Ryohei. Knowing that she lost her own game, having no team members by the time limit and accepting death, Risa makes peace with Yuzuha and embraces her death fearlessly and with her back turned to the ground, cartwheels off the apartment building as she is shot to death by a laser by the game administrators. Leaving her corpse on the floor.

Ryohei Arisu- Risa appeared to know and be familiar with at least some of the players in the Borderland, as she was shown to be surprisingly fond of Ryohei Arisu before they even met and especially desired him to join her team, more so than the others its been hinted that she developed a one sided crush on him.

As the Queen of Spades, she probably got to watch Players possibly from recordings, as she was shown familiar with Arisu, before they even met in person and developed a crush on him.
