Minor characters who appear in the Jack of Hearts game in the Netflix live-action adaptation. Their names are displayed on the game screen.

Eiko Yamaguchi (ヤマグチ エイコ, Yamaguchi Eiko) is a friendly and agreeable lady who avoids conflict and goes with the flow, not displaying any sign of regret or worry over lying to others, but showing fear for her own survival. She is portrayed by Akiko Yoshioka. Her English voice-over is done by Pauline Little.

Eiko is the first character who appears as Banda walks into the Jack of Hearts game venue, and the camera follows him, showing the room full of players. She stands next to Satomi Aoki and asks her to check what her symbol is while listening to the game rules. Later, she ends up joining Urumi's group with the purpose of telling each other symbols and eventually gets dragged into Urumi's plans to eliminate players one by one by lying to them.

Eiko dies in Round 6 or 7; the cause of her death is not revealed but is likely to be the result of Urumi's lies.

In a flashback in Episode 4, Eiko briefly appears walking along with Urumi and Satomi when Chishiya reveals Matushita and Kotoko's cookie scheme.

Masashi Ōta (オオタ マサシ, Oota Masashi) is a minor character shown to be ruthless and ready to murder people for no reason. He is portrayed by Kazunari Tosa. His English voice-over is done by Tod Fenell.

Masashi first appears during the Jack of Hearts game. He pairs up with Kakeru Kishoin. During Round 5, Shinobu Furuta asks the pair to tell her what her symbol is, as she does not trust her own teammates. Masashi gives her the incorrect answer of Clubs, justifying it by saying "you cannot be too careful". This betrayal turns out to be Masashi and Kakeru's downfall, as in Round 8 they can no longer trust each other and tell each other the wrong symbol, leading to both of their deaths.

Kakeru Kishōin (キショウイン カケル, Kishouin Kakeru) is a minor character who does not feel any regret over his partner's decision to lie to another player and cause her death. He is portrayed by Tity Hasegawa.

Kakeru first appears during the Jack of Hearts game. He pairs up with Masashi Ota. During Round 5, Shinobu Furuta asks the pair to tell her what her symbol is because she does not trust her own teammates. Masashi gives her the incorrect answer of Clubs, justifying it by saying "you cannot be too careful". Junpei Nagano (ナガノ ジュンペイ, Nagano Junpei) is a minor character who first appears during the Jack of Hearts game. He is portrayed by Syuhei Shikano[1].

Junpei teams up with Hiroto Yamashita and Mika Takeda, and they all go downstairs. However, what he and his team do during the game remains unknown as they do not appear on screen most of the time. Mika dies in Round 5, which indicates that either Junpei or Hiroto betrayed her, and then they are both eliminated during Round 6 or 7.

Hiroto Yamashita (ヤマシタ ヒロト, Yamashita Hiroto) is a minor character portrayed by Hidehiko Yamada and voiced by Richard M Dumont in the English dub.

He first appears during the Jack of Hearts game. He comments on the rules being crazy and then teams up with Junpei Nagano and Mika Takeda. He suggests going downstairs, and the group proceeds together. However, what he and his team do during the game remains unknown as they do not appear on screen most of the time. Mika dies in Round 5, which indicates that either Hiroto or Junpei betrayed her, and then they are both eliminated during Round 6 or 7.

Mika Takeda (タケダ ミカ, Takeda Mika) is a minor character portrayed by Mayu Adachi. She first appears in the Jack of Hearts game, where she decides to partner up with Hiroto and Nagano, who seem to be nice to her, and follows them downstairs. However, what she and her team do during the game remains unknown as they do not appear on screen most of the time.

For an unknown reason, Mika gets eliminated in Round 5 along with Furuta, as her picture goes dark. Since she spent most of the time with two specific players, it can be deduced that they betrayed her, but no details are revealed in the show.

In a flashback in Episode 4, Mika briefly appears with her group in the prison when Chishiya reveals Matushita and Kotoko's cookie scheme.
