Hirai (ヒライ, Hirai) is an older woman with glasses, portrayed by Chigusa Yasuzawa. She is first seen in the lobby of Toei Sendagaya Apartment building as Usagi enters. After the beginning of the game, she aimlessly wanders around, not realizing how the games work, which leads to an assumption that it was likely her first day of Sojourn. At some point, she stumbles upon Usagi, who tries to save her by shouting that the Tagger is approaching. However, the woman does not react quickly enough and seems confused, so Usagi is forced to escape and leave the woman to die. She is shot by the Horse Head within the first couple of minutes of the game.

Doi (ドィ, Doi) is a middle-aged man with glasses, portrayed by Motoharu Kurokawa. He is first seen standing in the lobby of the Toei Sendagaya Apartment building between Hirai and an unnamed man as Usagi walks in. He looks around at the other twelve players nervously. It is unknown whether Doi played any games prior to Five of Spades, but he is one of the confused players who do not know where to go and what to do. Unlike the other players, Doi remains on the first floor while the others head upstairs. As he frantically tries to open doors, he sees Nitobe screaming and running towards him, which makes him freeze. A moment later, he watches Nitobe get shot several times by the merciless Horse Head Dealer, causing him to shake in fear.

He turns around and runs to the stairs he previously passed on his left, leaving the game venue. Then he is instantly shot through the head by a laser, and his body falls down the flight of stairs he tried to escape down.

A tall middle-aged man, portrayed by Hidetaka Ichiyama, who first appears in the lobby of the Toei Sendagaya Apartment building. He is dressed in a smart suit, and he stands confidently with his hands in his pockets, which sparks the assumption about him being some sort of a businessman. Same as all the other players, he holds a phone given during the game registration, but he does not look confused or frightened.

When players are given a choice of the starting position, the man ends up wandering around the 6th floor, as he can be observed by Chishiya. Three minutes later, he is see walking up the stairs and looking at the phone. Suddenly, Arisu, Karube, and Nitobe hear gunfire, so they run towards the sound to check what happened. The unnamed player's lifeless body drops from the stairs with three blood stains on his previously white shirt. There is also blood coming out of his mouth. Nitobe unnecessarily confirms that the man is dead. As Arisu and Karube look around the corner, they see the Horse Head Dealer with a gun, so they realize that the man was murdered by the Tagger. He becomes the first victim of the game.

Considering his quick death, the "Game of Tag" was likely his first game on the first day of Sojourn.

Aya (アヤ, Aya) is a young woman in a white summer jacket over a yellow crop top, portrayed by Kanon Hanakage. Aya participates in the "Game of Tag" along with her friend Mai. They are both seen in the lobby of the Toei Sendagaya Apartment building as Usagi walks in. It is unknown whether Aya played any games prior to Five of Spades, but she is one of the confused players who do not know where to go and what to do, and she is quickly shot by the Horse Head, as she stops to help Mai, which might indicate her unawareness of how Borderland works due to lack of prior experience.

Mai (マイ, Mai) is a young woman in a pinkish-white blouse, portrayed by Ayu Higashi. Mai participates in the "Game of Tag" along with her friend Aya. They are both seen in the lobby of the Toei Sendagaya Apartment building as Usagi walks in. It is unknown whether Mai played any games prior to Five of Spades, but she is one of the confused players who do not know where to go and what to do. While running away from the Horse Head across the corridor, Mai falls down, and Aya, who stops to help her friend, gets shot first due to that. Mai gets mad and screams, then throws her shoe at Horse Head while he is reloading his gun, and promises to kill him. As she gets up and tries to run, he calmly shoots her down. Mai's overall behavior might indicate her unawareness of how Borderland works due to lack of prior experience.
