The Lasers are beams of light that shoot from the sky and eliminate players, Dealers, and Citizens under certain circumstances.
Description[]
Lasers are beams of light colored in yellow/green (as seen in the OVA) or red (as showcased in the Netflix adaptation). Their exact origin is unknown, and it is unspecified whether anyone controls them. However, they always closely follow the rules and appear whenever those rules are broken, regardless of the player/Dealer/Citizen's location. For instance, one of the Dealers is shot by the laser inside a hotel building.
In the live-action, the Watchman displays the ability to summon them at will.
Venue Lasers[]
An additional version of the sky beams is the lasers that surround the game venues. They are limited to the entrance and exists around the arena, and they only appear if a player (or an item) attempts to leave the premises before the game is cleared. The Netflix live-action also showcases those lasers turning blue before a player walks through them, as an indication that they are not going to be penalized if they decide not to join the game. The bigger the venue, the more potential exits are covered with the lasers.
Laser Guns[]
A manga-exclusive usage of lasers placed inside the rifles attached to the Face Card blimps. When a Citizen is defeated, the laser is used to execute them.

Termination conditions[]
Players[]
Players can be killed by a laser in the following cases:
- Their visa has expired;
- They try to leave the game arena after registration;
- They have lost the game.
Dealers[]
Dealers can be killed by a laser in the following cases:
- They have exposed themselves as a Dealer;
- The player team has cleared the game they were overseeing;
- Players have cleared all 40 number card games.
Citizens[]
Citizens can be killed by a laser in the following cases:
- Players have cleared their game during Stage 2;
- Their action results in death according to the rules of their own game (Sogo Shitara was killed by a laser during the King of Clubs game as he was touched by a player whose hand in contact with the base at the same time).
