Alice in Borderland Wiki

Jin (ジン, Jin) is a minor character in Alice in Borderland, who participates in the Five of Spades game, "Tag". He is portrayed by Riku Matsuda.

Appearance[]

Jin is a man in his thirties with long dark hair, tied up with a bandana, and tanned skin. He wears a dark blue short-sleeved shirt with a light denim vest on top, light blue baggy jeans, and white sneakers. There is a long silver chain on his neck, and a bracelet with his rank at the Beach.

Personality[]

Jin is shown to be trusting and slightly naive, as he never suspects Aguni's intention to betray him; however, he also showcases bravery and loyalty when he agrees to put his life at risk under the order from his boss.

Story[]

Jin is a Beach militant who first appears in the lobby of Toei Sendagaya Apartment Building before the beginning of the "Game of Tag". Despite initially arriving alone, he quickly teams up with his superior, Aguni, and follows him to the top floor of the building.

While Aguni observes and analyzes the Tagger's behavior, Jin is sent to retrieve a fire extinguisher. He, Aguni, and Karube decide to attack Horse Head, with Jin acting as a decoy, whose task is to lure the opponent to a specific location by running away and taunting him. Aguni's plan includes waiting until the Tagger finishes shooting and starts reloading his gun, which is when the group will attack, however, Jin is unaware of Aguni's intention to sacrifice him in order to trigger the shooting, which is how Jin eventually suddenly dies.

At the end of the game, Jin's walkie-talkie becomes a key to Karube's (and later Arisu's) plan to find the answers about the Borderland, because an unknown voice announces the necessity to "return to the Beach".
