Raised by his maternal grandmother, Dodo fell in love with one of his classmates. His best friend volunteered to act as a matchmaker, but ended up dating the girl himself, even though she originally had feelings for Dodo. Story[]

First Stage[]

Dodo enters the Borderland four days after Ryohei Arisu has joined the Beach society. He is attracted to a lit commercial building at night, which turns out to be the arena of the Four of Hearts. After being betrayed by a female player, Dodo becomes enraged. He sheds fake tears and lies about the answer when he actually knows it, thanks to knowledge gained from caring for his sick mother. He regrets this after his dishonesty causes the death of the player who previously cheated him. Nevertheless, another hooded player helps Dodo win the game first, and Dodo in return searches for the correct answers so that the hooded player can survive as well.
