Summary[]

Continuing where the previous chapter left off- A new question is shown and as usual, no one knows the answer, however they all now are struck with fear of getting the question wrong. Deciding it's not worth it to go with the Minority when getting it wrong would result in death, they all go with the Majority. This turns out to be the Incorrect answer and they all go down 1 floor and recieve a shock once more, except however for a silent hooded man, having made a gamble, and goes up 2 floors for getting the question right on the Minority.

The next question involves translating a word in French to English. One of the players had studied French and believes she knows the answer. Another player is quick to trust her and presses the Minority button. However she suddenly realizes she may have been wrong and- as it turns out, the correct answer is the Majority which everyone else guesses in time.

Fueled with anger, the man who guessed Minority falls to his death. The guilt doesn't last long for the female player however, as the remaining 3 participants then see that getting someone else to guess the wrong answer moves your individual kart up an additional 5 floors. For the next question, the female player once again claims the answer is the Minority, this time appearing to be filled with much more confidence than the turn before. Dodo and the hooded man however do not trust her and go with the Majority. Majority turns out to be wrong, howveer all 3 participants go down 1 floor and recieve the shock- revealing the female player was hoping to trick them both again and win the game.

The next question happens to be one Dodo knows the answer to due to his father working in the feild. However, with his heart now hardened due to his best friend's betrayal back in the real world, and the betrayal he is now experiencing here in the Borderlands- He pulls the sympathy card and begins crying, begging for the other 2 to trust him that the answer is the Majority. They both fall for it, and are brought down yet another floor, recieving yet another shock- However Dodo goes up a whopping 7 floors- 2 for guessing the Minority correctly, plus an additional 5 for his trickery. As Dodo watches the other 2 participants struggle in pain due to the shock, he attempts to convince himself that his act was justified.
