Synopsis[]

Once a safe haven, the Beach becomes the arena for the next stage, where an epic witch hunt turns everyone against each other in a hostile showdown.

Plot[]

With a two-hour time limit to find the culprit, the players begin to blame each other. Aguni carries out a violent new strategy for this game: slaughter innocent people until the witch has been killed. With this, Aguni, Niragi, Last Boss and the other militants slaughter the lesser Beach members with firearms and swords, throwing their deceased bodies into the Fire of Judgement.

Last Boss sets fire to the hotel by setting kerosene and gasoline ablaze, luring the people out so Niragi can snipe them down from the rooftop. Niragi's past is revealed; he was brutally bullied in his youth by other teenagers, who would strike baseballs in his face. Suddenly, Niragi is confronted by Chishiya. They get into a brief fight, with Chishiya setting Niragi on fire with a flamethrower and sending him falling off the roof.

An and Kuina employ a more diplomatic strategy; using An's forensic skills, she could using fingerprinting to find the culprit. However, as they exit the lab they are confronted by Last Boss. Kuina takes on Last Boss while An flees, goes to the body and takes the knife for analysis.

Kuina takes on Last Boss unarmed, being beaten by him. Kuina reflects on her past. In her childhood, she was a boy named Hikari who trained in martial arts with his father. However, after Hikari took an interest in makeup and feminine things, he was kicked out of the house. He would transform into a girl and visit her mother later on, who commented on her beauty.

Last Boss also reveals his past. When he was transported to the world, he decided to fully embrace the world and forfeit any desires of returning to the original world. He received his face and body tattoos as a complete rejection of his past. In the present day, Kuina uses her martial arts skills to defeat Last Boss, leaving him unconscious.

Meanwhile, Arisu remains bound to the chair while Usagi and two other people search for him. Arisu frees his mouth from the tape, allowing him to scream for help. Usagi hears, enters the room and frees Arisu. After being briefed about the game, Arisu thinks about who the witch is and manages to deduce who the witch is.
