Ayon Kimu (金 娥英, Kimu Ayon) is a supporting character in Alice on Border Road. She is the Queen of Diamonds (ダイヤのクイーン, Daiya no Kuīn) in the Borderland.
Appearance[]
Ayon has black hair with long bangs worn over her right eye, and she wears the rest of her hair in a bun. She is dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt and gray jeans.
Personality[]
Compared to her sister Hayon, Ayon is a very quiet individual; during the road trip with the others, she hardly says a word. Despite being older than her sister, she often lets Hayon take the lead.
History[]
During Ayon's childhood she was abused by her drunk father, and her sister would often put herself between her and her father. Ayon was always too scared to stop her father from hitting Hayon, and this caused her sister to resent her.
Later in life she became a military physician and was tasked with getting information out of a high school girl in a coma. In order to do this, she, along with four others, was tasked with creating near-death experiences for themselves in order to interrogate this girl in a world between life and death.
She is very caring of her sister despite her sister despising her; even when Hayon was in a fit of rage trying to kill Alice, Ayon was determined to have a conversation with her sister, hoping to mend their broken relationship.
Upon her sister's death, she was determined to kill her murderer, but she began to go crazy, imagining she was her sister, which made her determined to kill Alice.
Ayon is also known to be a skilled sniper, and because of the intelligence it takes to be able to wield a sniper and her quiet nature, it was determined she was the Queen of Diamonds. Diamonds are known for being games of intelligence in the original Alice in Borderland story.
Relationships[]
Hayon[]
Ayon cared so deeply for her sister that she kept a drawing from when they were both children; according to her, the drawing was supposed to have been destroyed by her drunk father, and yet she held onto the happy image her sister created. Ayon also seemed very remorseful of the fact she was never able to save her sister from her drunk father's beatings and wanted to mend her relationship with Hayon despite Hayon's jealousy of her.
