Alice in Borderland Wiki

Akitomo Minō (箕面 瞭知, Minoo Akitomo) is a minor character in Alice in Borderland, who participates in the Jack of Hearts game, "Solitary Confinement".

Mino is a teenager with short black hair and half-closed eyes. His facial expression remains indifferent regardless of the situation, and the accessory that makes him stand out is his gray scarf on top on a light-colored hoodie.

Personality[]

Mino is sharp and observant, he hides his emotions well and prefers to rely on logic instead of feelings. When forced into a deadly game, he chooses to kill instead of being killed and prioritizes the search for the Jack of Hearts' identity over survival.

History[]

Mino's story prior to the Jack of Hearts remains unknown; however, he must have played enough games during the First Stage to make it to the Second Stage and survived the King of Spades' onslaught long enough to join the Jack of Hearts game.

Mino questioning the idea of a group

Mino first appears in the prison hall after the rules of the "Solitary Confinement" game are explained. Hearing Ippei Oki's plan to team up and prevent the group members from dying, Mino insists on trying to find out the identity of the Jack of Hearts and assumes that the card gender corresponds with the gender of the hosting Citizen, so "the Jack" must be a guy. Since the idea is carefully brushed off by Masaki Aizen, Mino suggests that the people who arrived first or last are the most suspicious ones due to their timing. Urumi Akamaki points out that she and another girl came last and wonders if Mino plans to suspect them because of that, to which Mino reminds them that they were also the first to join Ippei's group. His words make multiple people leave, and he admits that teamwork is difficult.

Mino ends up alone, and Meisa Tokui is in desperate search for a partner, so she offers him money in exchange for telling her the symbol on her collar.

During Round 3, an unnamed female player in a hat asks Mino about her symbol, choosing not to trust Rokudo, but Mino insists that she tells him his first. Even though her response is correct, Mino suspects her, because she was the last one to enter the game venue, and lies to her about her own symbol. Then he decides to ask an elderly woman with an eyepatch about his own mark, just to make sure the girl did not deceive him, because he assumes that the woman does not have what it takes to kill people. But the lady ends up lying, so Mino believes the wrong person. However, just as he is about to disclose her symbol, he suddenly realizes that nobody can be trusted, so it is best to kill the others whenever he gets the chance. He intentionally gives the elderly woman the wrong answer, but she chooses to trust him over Rokudo and even apologizes for her own lies in her mind. Since they all deceive each other, all three of them become the victims of the third round.
