Remember the end of season 2 of AIB where Arisu wakes up? His brother, Hajime, tells him he was in the Borderlands for a minute. After a montage of everyone who survived, we’re shown a joker card. The thing is… how does Hajime remember? Those who survive the Borderland are supposed to forget. So somehow, Hajime went to the Borderlands, survived, and remembered it all. That might mean the joker is Hajime. If not, then it really is Banda and Yaba and Hajime just happens to be deeply related

Alice in Borderland ending explained and what's gonna happen in S3
Basically, what happened was that a meteor struck Shibuya. And the people who were there at the present were either dying or dead
Borderland then becomes a concept of wether you're dead or alive. It's a boundary of life and death. They then play games for life and death survival, which is kinda like a second chance. If you die in Borderland, your heart won't beat again and you're in a vegetable state. If you survive the games, your heart will then start pumping and you will wake up from your coma
After defeating Mira, those who decline the citizenship then wakes up and then comes back to life. But those who wanted their citizenship and PR to stay then stays dead or in the coma on Borderland
Now what is the JOKER?
I could say the Joker could be the Grim Reaper from the sky. Or the Joker card could mean continuing the real game, which is the hardest part and which is the rest of your life
What do you think is gonna happen in S3? Do you think all of the characters will finally/start to recognize each other?
Let me know in the replies on what you think will happen in S3!
Ok. I watched AIB 2 months ago and I became a fangirl. I forgot abt joining the Wiki, bc I was busy with some stuff and idk. You can @ me if you want to mention me. My fav character is Ann Rizuna and Akane Heiya. I also think abt Alice in Borderland A LOT. And idk if I'll be mostly online on this Wiki, since I'm mostly online on The Mimic Wiki. Andd, that's all I have to say. Ty
I want to watch the anime version—saw the live action first. Then realized it was a manga and anime series to as well—so I’ll love to watch/read those versions.

I saw that Alice in borderlands is pretty underrated when it comes to its OCs or Original characters so I wanted to hear your thoughts on them and what they are like?
The theory about borderline between life and death does not align with my theory: every single episode has clues in it. If you look closely enough and put the clues together, you will find a way to get out of borderline. Borderline is a actual place you are sent to by the borderline masters, not just a place you get sent to between life and death. I also thought land that borderline was a place in the future where there is all sorts of high tech which is controlled by 1 person somewhere in borderland/the beach, which was hinted from episode 1, season 1.
Guys I cant do this. First of all on tiktok 90% of the Alice in Borderland content is edits of adaptation Chishiya which is fine but then whenever someone brings up the manga some idiot always says stuff like "he's a better character in the adaptation because in the manga he's ugly/mean/'didn't get character development' (he literally did and it was far more significant and meaningful than in the adaptation)". His stupid fans on tiktok (again most of them not all) only care about appearance and don't pay attention to the fact that he was presented terribly and ruined as a character in the adaptation because they gave him empathy and made his entire motivation thinking that life is meaningless all because he had to watch some kids die instead of an interesting morally grey nuanced character displaying actual good representation of antisocial personality and the results of child neglect. Not to mention the fact that the narrative of the adaptation acted like he barely did anything wrong. Why would Arisu want to go with him right after he almost got him and Usagi killed at the beach?? Arisu just forgets about it immediately and never mentions it outside of some throwaway line about wanting to punch him. It genuinely acts like nothing he does is a big deal because Netflix obviously knows they're making money off making him a 'cool likable manipulator that secretly just was sad because of __ backstory and gets his empathy restored at the end' so if he isn't present at every other scene they won't make as much money. (Putting him in the Jack of Hearts ruined it too btw no I won't elaborate.) (Unless you want me to.) And then there's also the crowd that combines them (despite how they're very obviously barely even the same character) and acts like the adaptation version also experienced the same backstory as the manga version with the father even though the entire point of that scene was showing why he developed a lack of empathy and stuff, which isn't even in the adaptation because they made him 10x nicer just to earn more money. Being likable and conventionally attractive and nice doesn't mean they're a better character. You can have characters that are super nice but the writing is absolute garbage and there's characters who are like Niragi (also ruined in the adaptation his manga version was way better written) who are terrible people but still really well written and for some reason people conflate liking a character with supporting their actions or whatever which is so dumb. There's a grand total of like 3-4 accounts across the entirety of the platform that actually get the point of why the manga version of chishiya was written that way and that the adaptation was just infinitely less deep (completely ruined king of diamonds too because the point was that they were opposites not that they were similar having seen 'unfair' stuff in the world, and why did Kuzuryuu straight up just kill himself in the adaptation? He was supposed to press both at the same time after balancing the scores for equality. Oh wait yeah the adaptation ruined the whole nuance of the entire game and both characters.) dude i am actually so tired of people hating on the manga and saying the adaptation is better because 'the characters are more likable' (because netflix threw away all complexity and nuance and removed the major flaws of all the characters except for the very obviously evil guy that shot at least 40 innocent people to death) or because 'it was more successful than the manga' (wtf even is this stupid ass fucking argument? plenty of trash gets successful.) Btw this isn't to hate on anyone who likes the adaptation, I would have liked it myself if it hadn't been an absolute disgrace to my favorite manga since i was 11, and i understand the characters were changed for the purpose of being likable and easy to understand but it makes me so mad when people say the adaptation is better for stupid fucking ass reasons and please someone tell me they agree with me other than that one tumblr blog (absolute goat though)
Might delete this later because i wrote it kind of fast and stuff. btw i'm writing an essay at the moment and hoping to cover all of the major stuff they fucked up but every time i start writing i end up writing so much that it's hard to organize even though it's already in sections💀but i haven't stopped thinking about this since the second half of the adaptation released (first half was decent. close enough like it could have been worse). anyway netflix permanently ruined the fan base's perception of my goat chishiya and i hate them i want to go to their hq and tear it down with a sledge hammer
I wouldn't mind if this was a trend by the way.
Edit: and if you have questions about my characters please ask.
Here me out it’s kinda sad how the anime is only 3 episodes long and only covers the first 3 games I wish we got all the games in the anime if we did I would defo watch it
So the teaser poster last week was indeed confirmed to be true! We're getting a new season of AiB live-action in the works!
